Read Matthew 13:1-23 this week and evaluate the soil of your life. What soil have the seeds of the gospel been thrown on in your life? Sown along the path? Sown on rocky ground? Sown among thorns? Sown on good soil?

In what ways might you be “nearsighted” or “forgetful” of the work Christ has done in your life (v.9)? How can you refocus on the cleansing and transformation Christ has provided through His grace?
